Starting point: Trailhead starts near the corner of 20th Avenue and 20th Street south.

This is a beautiful hike that starts just off in a residential area just off of Scenic Drive, but quickly descends into the coulees and skirts the outer edge of the Lethbridge Golf and Country Club. It’s a beautiful trail, albeit challenging in spots. Be sure to use the app to follow the trail as there are a lot of paths that can take you off-course.

• The word coulee derives from the French word coulier, which means “to flow” and refers to a dry watercourse.
• The Country Club started in 1913 and moved to this location in the 1920s.
