Max Bell Regional Aquatic Centre

Located in the University of Lethbridge’s Physical Education building, the Max Bell Regional Aquatic Centre is the city’s premier competition-standard facility for aquatic sports, including swimming, synchronized swimming, diving, and water polo. The pool measures 52 metres in length, 21 metres in width, and 1.8 metres deep at the shallow end. A moveable bulkhead and floor allow for flexible configurations, including a full 50-metre pool or multiple 25-metre formats with a diving tank.

The facility features fixed, tiered spectator seating for up to 300 people, athlete and official change rooms with showers, broadcast capabilities, and a spacious deck with a classroom and first aid facilities. An electronic timing system supports high-level competition standards. With 1,000 parking spaces, it is well-equipped to host large events.
