Sugar Bowl (Ravine Park)

The Sugar Bowl, formally known as Ravine Park, is a popular year-round destination in Lethbridge, best known as the city’s premier sledding hill in winter and a thrilling slip-and-slide spot in summer.

The park features a unique fitness-oriented playground with an obstacle course loop for children aged 5–12 and a more advanced fitness circuit for older kids and adults. Fruit trees and berry shrubs planted near the playground add a fun and healthy element to the space.

As part of the regional trail system, Ravine Park offers scenic connections to the river valley and coulees via a tunnel under Scenic Drive, and to Henderson Park by following the Lakeview green strip northeast.
