About the Location

Lethbridge is excited to own one of Alberta's premier multi-purpose skate parks. The skate park is an 1850 square meter play area of contoured concrete that features a bowl and concrete obstacles, most of which are six to seven meters in height. The concrete area is surrounded by trees and bordered by a grassed spectator/picnic area. Built in 1999, the multi-purpose skate park caters to youth and young adults who skateboard, in-line skate and trick bicycle ride. Hours of operation are from sunrise to sunset. The park does not have lighting, and therefore does not lend itself to night time activities. Year round use is limited only by inclement weather; the park doesn't officially close, and can attract users January through December.
