About the Artist:
Born in China and now based in Canada, Lucy Du draws inspiration from the blending of cultural traditions. Her work is rooted in traditional Chinese techniques, using mineral and plant pigments on silk to convey feminine, nuanced, and emotionally rich themes. While soft and serene in appearance, her pieces explore deeper ideas of love, memory, and familial connection. Together, they create an immersive experience that invites reflection and emotional engagement.
