Law Enforcement Torch Run For Special Olympics – Free Our Finest

The Law Enforcement Torch Run is the largest grassroots fundraiser for Special Olympics in the world. Since its inception in 1981, LETR has raised over $1 billion globally, supporting Special Olympics programs both locally and internationally. The movement has grown to include over 100,000 law enforcement members in more than 80 countries, united in their commitment to empowering athletes with intellectual disabilities through sport. You can expect to see members of the Lethbridge Police Service, Taber Police Service, Blood Tribe Police Service, Lethbridge Animal Control, Alberta Sheriffs, as well as surrounding agency Community Peace Officers. Special Olympics athletes will also be present sharing their stories, showing off their achievements and cheering on participants.
