The Canadian Grand Slam of Baseball is a premier, multi-day celebration of the game, bringing together elite competition, community events, and unforgettable fan experiences in the heart of Lethbridge, Alberta. Running May 21–31, 2026, this city-wide festival transforms Spitz Stadium and the surrounding area into a vibrant hub for baseball at every level, from grassroots to high performance.
At its core, the event features the CCBC World Series (May 21–24), where the top collegiate programs in Canada compete for a national championship. The energy continues with the Prairie Qualifier (May 27–31), a Baseball Canada pathway event that showcases rising talent on their journey to the national stage.
The Champions Beyond the Diamond: Women in the World of Baseball evening is a special event dedicated to the incredible women who support, shape, and grow the game behind the scenes. Taking place on May 25 from 7:00–9:00 PM at the Sandman Signature Lethbridge Lodge, this free event invites moms, sisters, aunts, grandmothers, and female fans of all ages to connect, learn, and be inspired
The Canadian Grand Slam also places a strong focus on inspiring the next generation through its lineup of youth development opportunities. The Girls Got Game Camp is designed to empower young female athletes in a fun, supportive environment, building confidence and skills alongside experienced coaches and players with an appearance from Kevin Pillar. The Celebrity Kids Camp offers a unique, once-in-a-lifetime experience for young ballplayers to learn directly from special guests, including former big leaguers like Kevin Pillar, creating unforgettable moments both on and off the field. Rounding out the lineup, the TCMM Kids Camp brings high energy and hands-on instruction from Lethbridge Bulls and Prairie Baseball Academy players, giving kids the chance to learn from elite local talent while fully immersing themselves in the excitement of the festival. Together, these camps provide fun, accessible, and impactful experiences for young athletes of all skill levels.
The week also includes one of the signature highlights of the festival, The Legends of Canadian Baseball Gala (May 27) at the Sandman Signature Hotel. Featuring former Kevin Pillar, the evening includes a live Q
