A special sunset tour of the Devil’s Coulee fossil site, where Canada’s first dinosaur nests were officially discovered, will take place Sunday August 2 from 6:30 to 8:30 PM, weather permitting. For this event, visitors must register ahead of time by e-mailing info@devilscoulee.com (no booking fee necessary). Participants will meet at Devil’s Coulee Dinosaur Museum, before driving out to the fossil site in their individual vehicles. If there is bad weather, those registered will be notified, and given the option of a museum tour by flashlight instead. This event is geared toward adults and teens, but families with kids are also welcome. Our fossil site is an active palaeontological site with ongoing excavations and additional fossils continuously eroding out of the ground, so there is plenty to see, even besides the beautiful sunset!
Museum Address: Inside the county building, 300A County Road, Warner, AB
Cost: $36 for adults and $26 for youth and seniors
We hope to see you there, and look forward to sharing our amazing fossil site with you!
