This free session offers practical, career-focused guidance for filmmakers, screen performers, and community stakeholders looking to build sustainable careers and connections in Southern Alberta’s growing film sector. Participants will explore the current film landscape, including the advantages of working outside major production hubs, and gain clear pathways into crew, cast, and creator roles. Topics include union entry points (IATSE Local 212, DGC Alberta, ACTRA Alberta), building credits, securing representation, and developing funded projects.
