May has come to an end and we would like to look back at all the fun and exciting things that happened this month!
We introduced our brand new student ambassadors for the summer at the start of May and are so excited to have them joining our team! Jared, Rebecca and Payton are already learning so much and David and Lana are back for another summer of fun events and interactions.
The first History and Beer Tour of the summer took place on May 14th! The self-guided tour was a hit, and everyone was loving the beer and snacks. Our four stops included Mocha Cabana, Round Table Boardgamery, Streatside, and Sister’s. Look out for the next one on June 18th!
On May 24th we hosted Game 4 In The Core, the fourth game between the Calgary Flames and the Edmonton Oilers! We had a blast collaborating with The Place to bring the battle of Alberta right into the streets of Downtown Lethbridge.
On the very last day of May we had our first Foodie Fest! All our favourite food trucks came out to Galt Gardens for the day, and we had plenty of Downtown businesses that had free samples for everyone to try. It was so great to see everyone having such a good time and we can't wait for next month’s Foodie Fest!
We have also had a few new businesses join us Downtown! Tiger Bee is a brand new boutique for women's clothing located in the Oliver Building 316 5 St S #207. A new spot for all our ice cream lovers has moved into Downtown as well. Cookie Crimes has something sweet for everyone located at 305 6 St S. Thelma and Thistle is another women’s boutique filled with beautiful, trendy clothing in the Dr. Foster James Penny Building, 322 5 St S, and Fee Simple Law has found a new location Downtown at 319 4 St S. Welcome to all our new businesses!
The Asian Heritage Festival was arranged by The Southern Alberta Ethnic Association and featured ethnic foods, music and dancing! So much talent and cultures to experience!
Also a congratulations to Peak Therapy on their 30 year anniversary!
