Presents VESNA - A Celebration of Spring

TROYANDA UKRAINIAN DANCE CLUB - Is a not-for-profit organization with members that volunteer their time to preserving and promoting the artful heritage of Ukrainian dance in Southern Alberta. Currently in their 23rd year, the Troyanda Ukrainian Dancers have over 40 members ranging in age 3 to timeless.

Troyanda is excited to announce that their year-end show "Vesna" will be held at the ENMAX Centre on May 3 and everyone is invited! A colourful and lively showcase of dances, costumes, and music from various regions of Ukraine will be presented for all of Lethbridge to enjoy. To add even more beauty and culture to their show, Troyanda is proud to announce they will be sharing the stage with Indigenous dancers of Lethbridge: Cree Hoop Dancers, Red Star Women, and Senator Buchanan Indigenous Dance Troupe. The Troyanda dancers practice weekly to perfect their dances for this year-end performance, and are excited to perform in such a large venue this year.

Troyanda Ukrainian Dance Club also shares their love of Ukrainian culture with numerous Grade Three classes across Southern Alberta. This year these sold out shows, also being held on May 3 at the Enmax Centre, have over 1400 students attending from over 24 schools from around southern Alberta!

In addition to putting on these major shows, Troyanda also performs at many community events and seniors homes around Southern Alberta.

There is no limit for those wanting to begin, continue, or renew a love of Ukrainian dance. For information please email or visit their website at
