Koinobori is a long colorful streamer in the shape of a koi fish, used to celebrate the happiness of children. Koinobori streamers are a common site all over Japan during Golden Week, a week-long Japanese holiday in May. Koinobori come in all shapes and sizes, but one thing they all have in common is the exuberant color that ushers in life into any location.
Come join us on June 6th for our Kite Festival, and make your own Koinobori, so you can take a little piece of the Japanese culture home with you.
