JULY 03       Wheat Weaving Learn the art of wheat weaving and the folklore around this beautiful tradition. Please come prepared to work outside today. 

10                 Hand Made Looms Make your very own loom mini-loom and weave your own design.

17                 Bottle Rockets Celebrate the 25th anniversary year of the Canadian Space program on the occasion of the 40th anniversary week of the first man on the moon. Be prepared to get a little wet as your rocket takes off, and to be outside while launching your rocket. 

24                 Woven Friendship Bracelets This favourite summer camp craft pre-dates the popular Rainbow Loom! You’ll use embroider floss or yarn to knot a colourful bracelet.

AUGUST 07  WWI Letters 100 years ago this week World War I began. Explore letters from local soldiers and try to draft your own hand-written letter to someone you love.
