Downtown History & Beer Tour: July 29th

July 29th, 2017 will mark a very important day for history buffs and beer connoisseurs in Lethbridge.

This event is not only rich in beer and good company; it is also rich in downtown history. Local historian, Belinda Crowson, will lead the history portion of the tour. Belinda is well known for her witty and interesting story-telling as well as her passion for anything history related.

Joining Belinda this year will be beer aficionado, Roy Pogorzelski. Roy will treat your taste buds to diverse craft beers at each stop along the tour route.

The tour is scheduled for approximately five-hours, starting at 2 p.m. all the way through until 7 p.m. The walking tour will stop at five of our unique restaurants and cultural venues.

Each stop will feature a different craft beer to be tasted and perhaps a small bite to eat.

Along the trek, to-and-from, the beer tasting stops, Belinda will regale attendees with stories of downtown Lethbridge's history, as well as other hidden, historical gems to be found in the heart of your city.

We also recommend that you make sure to download a fun, interactive app called 'UNTAPPD' before the tour. This cool little app will enhance your craft beer taste-testing experiences on the tour and whenever you sample craft beers during your travels.

You’ll also receive a souvenir to remember the day!
