Alliance Church will play host to a benefit concert for Haiti on Saturday, Feb. 27 at 7 p.m. feature Local acts from area churches will take the stage.  Donations can be made at the door.

Coalhurst Community Hall is the place to be on Friday night.  Comedian Gery Schubert as Don Cherry hosts Hockey Night in Lethbridge, a family dinner and auction.  This is a fund raiser for two groups working to help the poor in Africa: Friends of South Omo and Christian Mission Aid.  The event features a catered meal, live and silent auction and entertainment by Gery Schubert.  Tickets are 25/person or $175 for table of 8 and are available from Body Shop, Lethbridge Home Hardware or Dove Christian Supplies.  Show time is 6 PM
